How do you know they are working on a board for us? have 247 communicated this or is it just speculation? I wouldn't think they could do too much without knowing who is going to run it and having their input on the format and such. Not questioning you dude just a little pissed off.

Noah has told us that they're working on a site. However, this is a business, and to justify us getting a site they need potential subscribers for premium content. That's why they're not going to launch the site without reputable writers.
This is just my opinion, but from the comments about the future Michigan 247sports site that I have read, it seems that 247 has determined that bringing in a site that's already established and has established writers (rather than building their own site and staff) would yield the quickest and best results.

I agree with this, but from a business standpoint they also need to look at the ceiling of just taking an existing site. Lots of people dislike Rivals, lots dislike Scout, so they wouldn't necessarily break through to win subscriptions from the competitors. Maybe that is still enough cash flow to make money, but I don't know the numbers.
I'd hope they would take a couple respected writers, or people with connections, and try to blend in some new blood to hopefully upgrade the end product.

I think that 247 should provide those of us who have been on the tBB commenting 6 or 12 months of free VIP access, or something as a reward for participating without having a site.
