    Yeah, I'm hoping he gets his grades up. I love his athleticism. He would be quite the catch and a true game breaker. We really don't seem to be on many WR this class. I know Dever is coming on as a walk-on, but there are only two other names that seem to be in the picture (Burbridge and Stanford) and they both seem longshots to be in this class. I hope they like what they see in Stokes ect.

  • By the way, has anyone seen the OSU vs UM gameplay in NCAA '12?

    Really disappointed in EA. The facemasks are different on some guys. Hoke is not as big as he is shown in the game. Denard doesn't have dreads, while Smith does.

    But I kinda like the running configuration. Looks way better than previous years.

    They change the looks on players so they can't be sued for character likeness.

    Usually the guys that name the entire rosters change the obvious character appearance flaws, but you have to wait a while before those to come out.

    Who cares about the dreadlocks? You can just edit it so he has them.

  • After watching Norfleet's vids, I hope that Hoke and Co. offer him. IMO, he's just too good and will be a difference maker. His versatility makes him *that* much more attractive.

    He is the definition of a pure football player.

    (And I know that someone mentioned that Juwan Lewis is higher up on the staff's board. If that's correct, this will be an interesting push/pull situation.)

    Well...the fact is he 5'7 160lbs! He doesn't fit much into what Hoke is trying to build. If Rich Rod were still here, he would have been on board already.

    This...Tom was talking about him favoring U of M....Sam Webb said Kyle and his Dad are high on us but other parties are telling him to take some more visits.

    Jarrod Wilson has supposedly cut ND out and is now down to us and penn state.

    Imo I don't think we should take a QB unless its Devin fuller. I am not impressed with Mauk. Devin almost reminds me of a mike vick .5
    He has that same zip on the ball and is good at the improvised runs.

    Anybody have any predictions for our next commitment?

  • Ya I think Kalis has us as his leader based on his comments, actions, and all the rumors out there.
    Most Michigan fans are basically already counting him in on the class when just a few weeks ago, we thought we had no chance.

  • Sam Webb discussed the Stanford situation yesterday on Michigan Insider yesterday, and it sounds like it isn't something to worry to much about. Basically, Stanford and his father just haven't been able to get a weekend that works for both of them. I can't remember which sport (AAU maybe?) but he has games a lot of weekends, and his Dad has worked the weekends when he hasn't had games.

    Sam's final two points really drove the point home for me. First, unlike Dunn and Kalis, Stanford has been talking about visiting Michigan since even before any of the OSU stuff broke. Second, it isn't like Stanford (or Washington for that matter) have been visiting other schools either. They literally have not had time to visit any school farther away than OSU.

    I think Wormley said he was going to announce by the end of August. He may announce before July 8th, but I think he waits a little longer. I think commitments will slow. With so few spots and the big names left on the board, the coaches might have to wait on some of the targets. I know they want the class filled up by the time the season starts, but I think it will finished by Nov-Dec.

  • Out of curiosity, do you guys think Hoke and co. will wait on Devin Fuller? Obviously your class is filling up relatively quickly, but it doesn't look like Fuller will make a decision until at least after he makes all 5 officials.

    I'm assuming they'd leave a spot open for him if he shows enough interest. But maybe they'll look to take another athlete who is willing to commit faster. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are about it.
