Matter of time until what? He's a 2011 recruit and likely their starting QB.

As for Norfleet, I have this bad feeling we are going to regret passing on him.

it really is unreal how everything seems to be going Michigan's way right now ; just wish we could hand out 35 schooly's this year . We are officially on a roll

Seriously like what the fuck. It is almost like NOTHING can go wrong for Michigan this class. If you filled out the rest of your class with 5-stars i'd only be mildly surprised.

great place to be for sure and there are only a couple of schools that enjoy this kind of success and its schools like Alabama , LSU , Texas etc...most everybody is looking to play catch up right now and i hope it can translate to wins on the field which is the most important thing -

Do you all remember Demetrius Hart?

Hart was ranked the #1 All-Purpose Back in the 2011 class. Moreover, he was a special player that excelled in both the spread offense and pro offense.

I think Norfleet is cut from the same cloth but just didn't receive the same attention...until now. His performances at camps have opened quite a few eyes to his play-making ability.

    -----

Also, I'm sure most of you all remember Braxton Miller. If Miller had been a 2012 recruit and was open to playing at Michigan (in light of Ohio State's problems with the NCAA), do you think Hoke and Co. would have pursued him?

I'm curious to read people's thoughts on this...

I think that Hart was a very special athlete. If Northfleet would have been in any other future class I think that the coaches would go after him as good change of pace back because of his talent level. However with the amount of running backs that Michigan already has (more suitable to the spread and shred), the coaches want to start off and fundamentally change the style of running back for the future.

As far as Miller, I saw his high school game against Cincinnati Moeller and was not impressed. TD run for 75 yds and 35 yds which were both spectacular, but when they lost the lead he kept trying to run for yards instead of pass. I know the coaches may have something to do with that, but I was never impressed with his passing game. Great talent, but I was never sold about his passing.

  • After watching the Big33 tape, I'd be more worried abrout Cardale Jones then Miller down the road.

Went over to stadium and main for the first time in a couple months and Wow. Seems like the handicapped posters came out of the woodworks. Some all-time stupid on that board

Without a doubt. He might be behind Kiel on the board, but that would be it. He's a special talent, and we haven't completely abandoned dual-threat quarterbacks. Maty Mauk, Devin Fuller show that Borges still values a QB that can scramble.

Still, I'm still not convinced Braxton is a college-ready passer (he's a bit inconsistent) and he needs to work on ball security. If he's the Buckeye starter, their offense may run into some difficulties against tougher competition.

I'm not happy to hear my old board is falling apart. However, their best posters are splitting time between Stadium & Main and here (you guys know who you are) clap. Hopefully this becomes more of a full-time home for everyone.

I hope they end up using a freshman QB, then you know they're in trouble.

I think they're are a biggest wildcard in the B1G because of all the problems surrounding their program, the suspensions, the new coach, etc. Who knows what kind of team they'll put on the field?

We're at home, too. I've started to increasingly like our chances.

Hopefully it "clicks" for the team and they feel this way, too. They have the opportunity to embarrass this Buckeye team and send the entire nation a message-- "Michigan football is back."

  • On a side note, good luck to the Michigan commits over at The Opening which starts today in Oregon... With Ojemudia, Ross, Richardson, Standifer, and Magnuson, Michigan is well represented.

Somebody needs to get ahold of Michigan's bot's. Nebraska has closed the gap to 60-40 for Michigan with over 16 million votes so far.

I've been watching the poll, and at the current rate Michigan will win 54-46, roughly. pray
