  • What do you think of this?

“I never did see that,” said the Trotwood-Madison High School senior cornerback who “flipped” from a verbal commitment to Illinois to eventually sign with Michigan on Wednesday.

“Until I die, I’m gonna be a Buckeye fan even though I’m going (to Michigan). When we play (OSU) I’m gonna still bring my ‘A’ game. But, I love Ohio State.”

  • It's not really surprising. We take so many kids out of Ohio that a large number of them are bound to be OSU fans. Like McCray - when you grow up that involved in OSU football culture, you can't just turn it off when you make your verbal commitment. It would be silly to expect kids who had grown up in Ohio as OSU fans to just suddenly start hating OSU.

We'll see how Dawson feels in a few years, but it's not like this is going to affect his play against OSU. If he doesn't play 100%, we'll pull him for someone else, and I'm sure he knows that.

    CMXI

  • It certainly makes you raise an eyebrow at first glance, but I think CMXI summed it up pretty nicely. Considering the kid hasn't even had his first practice yet as a Wolverine, I don't think it's a huge deal.

How do you feel about the fact that Eddie George advised Derrick Green to go to UM?

    Agreed.

For some reason I doubt he will be saying the same thing 4 years from.

Doesn't bother me. Once OSU stopped recruiting him, it was no longer a battle for his services. If Eddie thought Michigan had the offensive philosophy that would best suit Green and enhance his pro propsects, then I say good for Eddie for looking out for the young man's future and giving him good advice.

Eddie knew that with the RB talent on our roster he had a better chance of playing sooner at TSUN.

    Yeah, I said it.

I tend to agree. Wherever you go the culture weighs on you. Never was a HUGE Ohio State fan until I went to school there. Now I'm the biggest homer around.

For what it's worth I think it's a non-story as well. Just figured it was only fitting to ask since coincidentally both of these stories came out today.

  • Lmao look how Bleacher Report cleverly left off the last word of the quote to make it look worse than it actually is. I don't know what exactly to classify Bleacher Report as, I just know they do a terrible job.

So I took an uncomfortable poop earlier. You know, the kind where you have excruciating stomach pains and you’re just sitting there grimacing and writhing, desperately hoping to eject some poo in order to alleviate the pain. The only problem is the poo won’t come out. You know you have to go. Your body knows it has to go. However, the dookage is MIA. So you’re sitting there in pain, occasionally squeaking out semi-relieving farts but for the most part your butthole is just dry heaving. This was that kind of poop—the type where you’re hunched over and making a face that resembles Robert De Niro sneering at someone, all the while eking out the same little ooh’s, aah’s, and do-da-do’s that Michael Jackson made between the verses of Billy Jean. Finally, when you get something to come out, it’s this partly chunky, mainly watery substance that burns your butthole like you’re defecating hot lava. As it’s coming out, you feel some explosions down there and you just know you’re going to have to put the old toilet brush to work when you’re done or else risk embarrassment from others seeing your poo residue in the bowl should they ever need to use your bathroom. The worst part is it will take a lot of wiping to adequately clean yourself up, but you neglected to pick up some Charmin while you were out earlier and sadly, you only have 1 sheet of 2 ply left (two if you count the folded over piece glued to the paper roll). Anyways, that situation is probably the best comparison I have for the Bleacher Report. It’s probably the most accurate classification.
