    I will say it again though, he's not elite but a very good prospect. I think he's in the 175-200 range nationally which every program would welcome.

  • While I certainly wouldn't mind adding him, given our space crunch at this time, I wouldn't be terribly upset to end with just McCray and Gedeon as our LBs. I hope he enjoys the visit, and wherever he goes I'll be happy for him.

    It went extremely well.... FSU has been his favorite for over a year before Michigan made a move.... spending a week at FSU really did a lot of good for us.... still is still in it but this visit was what he wanted and expected... a week on his own dime says a lot.

  • yeah...just read the article FSU Rivals guy put out. Heavy FSU slant, Warchant is widely known for being a complete joke...but the kids own words say a lot.

    He visited FSU for what, 4-5 days and he says FSU is now tied with Michigan at #1 and he's still going to visit Michigan 12-14 for their Spring Game.

    Yeah, color me skeptical of Warchant Mods who are claiming he's already locked up.

    If a kid spends that much time on campus and says, "well yeah, they are now tied with school X at #1 and I am visiting school X for 2-3 days in about 5 days from now", I wouldn't be going claiming this kid is already locked like the Warchant guys are saying.

    Just my two cents.

    Also nowhere in the Warchant article was it slanted, they clearly said it was a tie lol

    Warchant isn't claiming a lock, would you like for me to copy and paste the entire article so everybody can see how stupid you sound ?

    EJ has loved FSU for almost 3 years now, Michigan is not gonna win this battle.... especially when his dad has a clear hard on for FSU

  • It has been known for a while that he would visit FSU for a week and he did. Nevertheless even knowing he was going to spend a week there, he has consistently stated U of M is his number 1. By no means is he a "lock" like some fans will argue, but he is no worse than 50-50, and I would still say 60-40 mich lean

  • He hasn't had a lengthy visit to Michigan yet. I'm sure he's very comfortable with FSU and could end up there. I can't say either way until he (and his dad) sit down with Michigan coaches and break things down like he has already done with FSU. It certainly is an intriguing recruitment battle to keep an eye on.

  • Look FSU fans are confident cause A. EJ has been all FSU until this spring when Michigan made a move..... B. EJ spent a week at FSU, he has visited Michigan and will visit again. Spending a week is not to just for fun. C. His dad is going to be hard to sway, not saying he gets the final word but EJ values his dads opinion a lot... also not one FSU fan in here has called him a lock, just saying now that FSU is showing him the " love " again it will be hard to say FSU isn't the team to beat... even most national mods/analyst have said the same.....
