Naw mane, we need him so Tannehill will continue developing. Best on the market, and there isn't anyone close to like him in the draft. He'll be well worth it.

I would argue pretty much every player isn't worth nearly as much as they get

Then the funny flip side to it, is technically they are getting robbed by the owners cause they make those old cracka's a lot more money than the players get paid, that is for sure

Being a player in the NFL is the worst glamourous profession on earth

  • Meh he really rubbed me the wrong way last year. He was the third best WR on the team and 4th best option if you include Miller. Good luck to him.

  • Glad he's not in Pittsburgh anymore. He didn't give a damn last year, and was likely our 3rd best receiver. No way does he deserve that kind of money. Much rather have Stedman Bailey. I believe Pittsburgh takes him in the 2nd or 3rd depending on where he is projected. Stedman is very Hines Ward like with his style of play.

Give me Mingo in the 1st and General Patton in the 2nd or 3rd.

  • He held out then proceeded to play like shit most the season, choking when it mattered...therefore most Steelers fans are a little upset with him.

Which part? The part where Wallace sucked all of last year, or the part about wanting a good possession receiver to go along with Brown and Sanders?

Hines Ward was much better than Bailey will ever dream of being imo

I agree with you. That says more about Hines than it does Bailey, though. I said he plays a similar style. I wasn't comparing them.

  • Wallace succeeding will have more to do with can Ryan throw him the deep ball than anything to do with himself. He's got better speed than 98% of the NFL, but it don't matter if the qb can't throw it.

We'll see. He has positives, no doubt, but 13m per year? Not a chance.

I will agree that he was the best on the market. As far as there not being anyone close to him in the draft...I don't think you can say that until a couple years down the road. Wallace himself was a third round pick, as was Antonio Brown.

Miami simply had money to blow and they went after their needs. I can't fault them for that, especially since you overpay for free agents. I just don't think he's worth it.

I hear you and yes it does, I loved Ward.... my kind of player for sure

I like Bailey too, but in terms of style Im just not sure they are similar

Bailey is a true So Fla speedster and they usually have a place in the NFL, just not sure I ever see Bailey rippin heads off like Ward did all the time

Ward might have been the greatest downfield blocker of all time
