In lieu of the joke, the fact that Missouri beat ASU and Tennessee beat NCSU has a profound effect on the BCS computer results. In fact, I find it quite ironic that Missouri will have beaten _2_ bowl teams OOC (lost on last-minute TD to a 3rd) without making it to a bowl themselves due to their killer conference schedule, whereas those two OOC bowl teams they beat would NOT be going to a bowl if they were in the SEC.

Give Missouri's schedule to UCF and ASU, and what happens? Missouri beat both of those teams, but the rest of their schedules were light years easier. Look at UCF - 8-3? How different is the perception of UCF at 8-3 than Missouri at 5-6 (5-7 after today), yet Missouri beat UCF on UCF's field? Huge disparity in quality of opponents.
