it's so obvious that marijuana should be legalized (or severely decriminalized) and alcohol should be legal to purchase at 18. Both make a lot of sense.

Nope, just the opposite. Like I said, they should be legal but I should not be forced to pay for peoples lifestyle choices. For example, I do not smoke and would never pay $5 for a pack of smokes. I don't think I should have to pay for HC for someone with lung cancer who could afford a cigarette habit but not insurance.

That's was I said earlier. Also, in same week, Obama came out against pot, Pat Robertson came out in favor of legalizing it. Twilight Zone stuff.

Medical marijuana might have flourished under Ashcroft, but look up Operation Pipe Dreams, because normal weed sure as hell didn't.

I am (hence the "giant douche" and "turd sandwich" post earlier, and a previous thread I posted blasting Obama's head of the DEA).
I was hoping for something different to vote for. Instead, Romney is the "same old flavor" from the Republican party with regard to our country's wasteful War On Drugs.

By attack bongs, it's making a statement that the recreational use of marijuana as a serious offense.
The difference between recreation and medicinal is clearly the purpose of use.
Clearly both candidates are opposed to both and like I've said many times in other threads, the fact that one issue is in disagreement between who I support is not enough to change my support.
