I'd take a healthy rested 2011 Bama team all day over any of the others. Simply the best D college football has ever seen (this includes 85 sooners, 92 Bama, 01 Canes...). LSU was significantly better than every other team in '11 besides Bama. We saw how much better a healthy rested bama team was in NOLA (one without Maze for most of the game).
That D with the OL and TR/EL was punishing.
