  • It'd be cool if sigs were a little more customizable, like having the ability to crop which part of the image you want shown instead of resizing the image and hoping for the best twocents

    I agree with all of this. Please consider allowing the loading of full sized images. Being a paying customer, this is the type of service I would hope my payment would implement. This image referenced above http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=172&f=3725&t=1884620&p=1 is DAMN funny when viewed without clicking. Clicking on thumbnails spoils the effect. It's like some nerdy dude telling the punchline to a story you worked hard to setup--you'd just like to beat his ass....

  • I don't want the full size images... I hate long cats and people that have sigs or pictures that cause me to have to scroll to the right everytime.

    This LONGCATS are terrible. I dont want to see a lot of pictures. If I want to see them I'll click the thumbnail. Same with GIFs. All GIFs do are slow down loading the thread. I'd rather focus on the content. Plus those Gif's are overplayed 99% of the time. I dont need to see those things 100 times a day. If I want to view it, its simply enough to click it. 247 is far better than Rivals with this. Multiquote would be cool, but not continious. Cap it at being able to quote only 2 or 3 people.

    Here's an idea. And maybe this is crazy talk (I'm just a lowly subscriber anyway)... How's about 247 provides the various functionalities and allow the board "owners" to enable or disable them as they see fit.

    That will definitely happen down the road. At this point, we have to choose one or the other and live with it because we have so much more going on.

    Like I've mentioned many times before, we will revisit graphics on boards this year and we'll see what we can do to make everyone happy.

    Information concerning software developments and their timing is critical to those of us who are subscribing and are trying to determine if the value is there. 247 appears to be playing their hand a lot closer than they need to.

    Right now that the max character before the text will wrap when the board is at its smallest state. Unfortunately, the analytics say that that is the most popular and second most popular size, so until more people get wider screens or change their resolutions, we really don't want to mess with that.

    The text wraps on mobile and we're managing to survive (though we are lacking in the image and smilie departments).
