Your are an idiot. The Big 12 is the first or second strongest football conference whether they have 9 members or 14.

    Still not getting the point.

If the landscape gets pushed to 4 Super Conferences one day, he is saying that this move cements the Big12 as the 4th conference that would be included, assuming that the SEC, B1G, and PAC12 are the 3 that are already definite. He's not ranking the conference.

If the conferences were already realigned at the start of the BCS those numbers would be way different.

How so? I'll tell you this, Nebraska may make a BCS bowl or 2 in the B10...but Mizzou/A&M are going to do N-O-T-H-I-N-G in the SEC and Colorado...well...i mean come on...they arent making a BCS bowl any time soon.

How different would those numbers have been? BCS was created in 1998...FSU went to the NC game in 1998, 1999, and 2000.

To be honest, if those conferences were re-aligned like this in 2000 then FSU would have had their OC for the Oklahoma game and probably would have won another NC. But that's all speculation.

Such a fact. The morons will ignore this.

Well you can think the tobacco road teams and our commisioner for that.

Syracuse is flat out mystifying to me. Through all the stuff I have about B1G expansion the only basketball school who carries similar weight to a football school in bringing more to the table than each one is currently getting is North Carolina.

Texas and Ou had great years, but they had a couple of down ones as well. Florida State, West Virginia, TCU, and Clemson are teams that compete on the field. They have teams that certainly would have capitalized in our down years. Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado, and A&m did nothing. Nebraska has done and will do nothing in the Big10. Missouri and A&M will do nothing in the SEC because they are losers, and Colorado is a joke.

Losers make excuses. Winners produce on the field.

There have been years that multiples of those teams (FSU, Clemson, WV, TCU and the remaining BXII schools) went to BCS bowls in the same year. For example, CU and WV playing in the Orange Bowl this past season (who could forget that?) and OKst. also going to the Fiesta bowl. At least 1 of those teams would have been cut out, and arguments could be made that 2 of them shouldnt have been there in the first place. If CU and WV were playing BXII schedules last year their records would have been worse and they definitely would not have made a BCS Bowl. Factor in these types of exclusions over 20 years and you get much fewer BCS Bowl appearances for the conference.

But the point remains that even in your scenario one group would still have a LARGE number of BCS bowls over the other.

As I mentioned, FSU is pulling anywhere from 3-5 BCS bowls over that timespan no matter what conference you put them in. That's more than the other group by itself.

By assuming that the SEC, B1G, and PAC12 are the 3 that are definite he is making a value judgment! If the Super Conferences intend to play football, then the Big 12 will be included. They aren't vying for a spot at the table.
