Did Richt not recruit Ramble and Ogletree? This crap had been going on for years hence thUGA and the fulmer cups. At some point the onus has to be placed on Richt. If the players feared and respected him this wouldn't happen so often. The solution is to recruit better young men or hire a head coach who is a disciplinarian. Whatever system is in place is failing miserably. Time for a change.

Richt offered Ogletree's brother to snag Alec. Richt also offered Nick Marshall's family member to get him. I sense a pattern with these charity offerings.
UGA will never win a natty under Mark Richt. Everyone tries to tell them that, but they do not comprehend. They only want to be competitive, so that--barring no further suspensions---might happen this year. With these two out 4 or more games and the CBs they are missing, the first part of the season will be VERY interesting for UGA.
I hope Miz puts one on them. If you live in Georgia and have to tolerate the perennial "pre-season national title team" every year, you hope UGA loses as well. Every year, UGA fans are AlWaYs thumping their chest about how great they are going to be. The "wait till next year" 's start about 3rd game of the season.....

Alec was committed 6 months before Zander committed. This was not an offer to get Alec. If I remember correctly you're a Nole, and the Noles offered Zander and he played in 14 games for us as a Soph. The same thing with Marshall, committed way before LO committed. LO was on the radar for awhile but no one thought he was going to qualify, hence no big offers and he didn't qualify.
Look, just like any fanbase there are a ton of douches. And I imagine that you have to hear a bunch of S%#@ being a FSU fan in another state, but to generalize all fans..

Put it this way. As I was waiting outside the stadium this past Fall for my ticket to show up, I got barked at in my face and repeatedly told "I hope y'all kick our ass so Richt will get fired".
Then through smoke and mirrors of a weak schedule, he saved his job. Miracously, conference intervention made their schedule even weaker for 2012.

There's a discipline problem all right. Richt is just too good of a Christian for our fanbase to blame him. Instead its the players fault. You should have seen our message board earlier. Sad thing is the university deserves so much better but everyone loves Richt.

Outlaw was signed and placed (@ MGC) the year before Marshall was even able to sign {IIRC}. FSU did offer Zander, but that isn't the point. The point is those deals have been pretty crappy for the "star" from those deals to keep ending up in trouble--granted Marshall is now dismissed from UGA.
Fanbases do have their DBags, FSU is no exception. If we had to rank fanbases with the highest concentration (from information I have gathered from Rivals' threads and from here), Ohio State, Florida and UGA are 3 of the top 10 fanbases for DBags. All fanbases have them, but some have more.
You seem like a cool guy, so I will consider you an exception (which all fanbases also have).
