Oh yea, it was a ND graduate that carried the flag for the opening ceremony......Not surprised a Trojan is following behind for closing ceremony,,,Is this the same Trojan that was shot on or near campus?

Haha, I remind my guys about this when they get too cocky....but no one has beaten Notre Dame more than USC, and no one has beaten USC more than Notre Dame. We can say we own this past decade though, so I'll live with the Domer edge for now.
While I cheer for the Americans first in the Olympics, a Trojan is for life, and we are just as proud of them. Those Trojans abroad who love USC and their Olympic sports will extend the TV viewing audience to the Pacific Rim to generate more income for the PAC-12 - it's coming, and Scott recognized a potential gold mine.
It is not out of the realm of possibility for Olympic sports to eventually generate more income than CFB in the PAC.

I've yet to see an Olympian be like, "I did it for the USC Trojans"!!!! or "I won this gold medal for the Florida Gators"!!!
Come on man. These are American kids going out and winning events for themselves and for their country. Taking pride in their personal and global accomplishment all because they take classes at the university's football team that you cheer for seems a bit pathetic. No?

During the Olympics I cheer for team USA not team FSU. I keep up with the noles who compete for other countries though, but I would not brag about them unless they are on team USA.

USC has the largest foreign student population in the country, they come here and pay full price for an American private school education....which allows USC to grant full ride scholarships to deserving (American) kids that could not afford the hefty tuition otherwise.
We welcome foreign students - they bring a broader, global understanding of the world outside, why are students that represent another country any less part of the "Trojan Family" ? Doesn't work that way, one hopes these students return to their various countries with a greater understanding and respect for America.
