Actually you guys had David Dawson at #247 in the list published at the beginning of Feb.
Speaking of David Dawson. Most project him to OG at Michigan, but he is currently listed as an OT on 247. Last year you guys had several players listed at OT(Kalis, Garnett, Simmons), but moved them to OG later in the process.
My question is, how do you determine where to place the commits if they can play both OT and OG? Is it based more on the tape/analysis or based on what recruits report to you after they have spoken to coaches?

Georgia, in particular the ATL Metro is blowing-up with prospects. With Alvin Kamara in at #63 overall, going to be a busy Fall trying to see the likes of Nkemdiche, Foster, Adams, Jones, Kamara, Matthews, Rochell and company all play in person at least 1 game.
The Corky Kell Classic opens the season at the Georgia Dome on Aug 25th and several of these guys will be playing as the day consists of 5 games in total starting at 9am.
2012 Corky Kell Schedule
9am: Kell High vs Chattahoochee
11:45: Grayson (2011 State Champs and top 5 Nationally ranked in most final polls featuring Robert Nkemdiche & Wayne Gallman) vs McEachern (was #1 in Georgia for the 1st half of the 2011 Season before losing a close midseason game to Hillgrove and Kenyan Drake).
Heard that Grayson will also play Miami Central during the 2012 Season as they are trying to make a run at the "Mythical" National Championship
2:45: North Gwinnett vs Colquitt County (coached by Rush Propst formerly of Hoover and MTV's "Two A Days". Gave Grayson all they could handle in the 2011 State Playoff Semifinal)
5:00: Peachtree Ridge (featuring Joe Horn Jr., son for former NFLer Joe Horn) vs Camden County (Ranked #1 much of 2011 in Georgia before losing a close game to Colquitt County featuring Brice Ramsey & JJ Green)
8:30 Walton ( 2011 State Championship Finalist featuring Tyren Jones, Brandon Kublanow, Parker McLeod) vs Brookwood (2010 State Champs)

The team rankings on 247 make no sense at all. North Carolina has 5 recruits-4 3stars and 1 unranked. OSU has 4 recruits- 1 5star and 3 4stars. How in the world if OSU's worst recruit is better than North Carolina's best recruit, are we ranked behind them??? Makes no sense, you can say bell curve all you want.

Im familiar with the saginaw valley league competition that Elmer plays against in high school. Saginaw High isnt what it used to be and the Flint teams are so unorganized. He doesnt really go up against any talented oppenents that would challenge him. It doesnt surprise me that he "struggles" against better competition. Given his elite physical measurables, you'd expect him to just maul ppl and throw them around like a sack of potatoes. Either way, ND got a good one.
