Makes sense. If they are like Pandorum I would definitely go see them.

Yeah, the director said that the prequel would be more of a psychological thriller dating back to when they had to board the ships to a new planet. While the sequel would be life on the new planet and would feature a big war between aliens and the humans. Sounds sensible.

Speaking of vampires they are doing a movie based off of the show Dark Shadows. Tim Burton is directing it so it should be worth seeing.
