Has anyone seen A Dangerous Method or The Artist?

I have been watching trailers and I really want to see both.

No but I really want to see The Artist. I also want to see Shame, another Michael Fassbender movie. It also has Carey Mulligan who I think is super cute.

    Yeah Shame looks really good.

I watched a movie with Carrie Mulligan in it the other night called Never Let Me Go. It was pretty good.

She plays off her English accent so well I didn't have the slightest notion she was British til I saw an interview.

  • Having watched a bunch of movies recently on Netflix... here's a few I enjoyed and a few I thought were weak.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil: Funny, witty, stupid, and gory. Very enjoyable horror/comedy.
Cashback: British Indie Flick. Tons of nudity and sort of silly plot, but overall pretty creative. Nudity definitely gives it a boost.
13 Assassins: Fell asleep like 3 times watching it, but the last 45 minutes makes for a great ending.
Margin Call: Big time cast and good acting in a surprisingly thrilling moral dilemna/financial inuendo movie.
Centurion: Fassbender stars in British action adventure. No real character depth, plot is kind of weak, but fight scenes and lots of gore make it very entertaining.
Warrior: I really am not a fan of MMA or UFC; But I thought this movie was very enjoyable and surprisingly deep with emotion.
Contagion: was decent. Interesting look at everything involved and the plausibility of it. Soderburgh always seems to do good job.

Bridesmaids: Started out good but then just began to annoy me. I did laugh when Hamm pulls up and says "what's up f*ck buddy."
Planet of the Apes (Rise of the Ape): Decent, but didn't live up to the hype and really, come on... those apes aren't making it across that bridge in real life.
Tree of Life: Didn't know what to expect except that it was a Terrance Malick movie... This movie sucks. Talk about pompous and arrogant movie making. Showing a bunch of beautiful images is great and all, but having some sense of cohesion or just letting the viewer in on some of your randomness is somewhat thoughtful if your a director. Can't get that 2 and a half hours back.
Cowboys vs. Aliens: Not awful, and I do like Favreau as a director, but Harrison Ford is awful in this movie.

A bunch of others, but I can't remember right now.

  • Don't know if it's already been mentioned (can't exactly scan 32 pages) but I saw The Vow last night with my wife and if you're looking for a good Valentine's Day flick, it's watchable. Not too terribly girly. Only like 1:45 long, so it's not terribly long either.

I like Rachel McAdams but luckily I don't have to worry about finding a movie for Valentines Day this year.

PROJECT X – Movie Trailer, Photos, Synopsis

Project X follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves. • What do y'all think of this list?

For me it needs to have Unicron and he needs to create a Galvatron, i am just the old school guy and think Optimus always needs to fight his arch enemy...and honestly that wasn't much of a fight in the last one.

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

The ranks of the Transformers have become depleted. What Autobots and Decepticons should step up to the plate in Michael Bay's Transformers 4?

No worries. I am not a big Transformers fan so I can't really help you on this one. Plus Michael Bay is directing again so I am not very interested in Transformers 4.
