    Haywire (2011) HD Trailer Exclusive

This dynamic action-thriller directed by Oscar(R) winner Steven Soderbergh (Traffic) boasts a talented cast that includes Channing Tatum (GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra), Ewan McGregor (The Ghost Writer), Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class), Antonio Banderas (The Legend of Zoro), Bill Paxton ("Big Love"), Michael Douglas (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps), Michael Angarano (Almost Famous); and introduces mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Gina Carano as Mallory Kane, in a demanding lead role that has her performing her own high-adrenaline stunts. Mallory Kane is a highly trained operative who works for a government security contractor in the dirtiest, most dangerous corners of the world. After successfully freeing a Chinese journalist held hostage, she is double crossed and left for dead by someone close to her in her own agency. Suddenly the target of skilled assassins who know her every move, Mallory must find the truth in order to stay alive. Using her black-ops military training, she devises an ingenious--and dangerous--trap. But when things go haywire, Mallory realizes she'll be killed in the blink of an eye unless she finds a way to turn the tables on her ruthless adversary.

It could be good. Soderbergh is kind of hit and miss. I always thought Traffic was a little bit overrated.

I usually like him. I am just nor sure about this take on Wyatt Earp. The whole Gunslingers vs Gangsters could be good though.

Yea, depending on who directs and who else is cast will be interesting to follow. Movies like this need a big cast.

Sounds more like an episode of The Deadliest Warrior than a movie. But Im a huge fan of Han/Indy so I'll go see it anyway.

lol It does sound like an episode of Deadliest Warrior.

They should get tree-low to play Al Capone.

All he would do is spin in a circle firing a tommy gun.

  • So I just watched the movie Memento for the first time (it's on Netflix instant streaming), and oh my science that my movie is crazy. Definitely recommend it. It's directed by Christopher Nolan (Inception, Dark Knight).

Also, for those of you with Netflix, another good one to check out is The Fighter with Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg.

If you like Nolan, check out Following. It's his first feature length flick and is awesome.

Agreed. IMO, Black Swan was the best. Crazy as hell, and with a Natalie Portman / Mila Kunis lesbian sex scene. Does it get any better..?

  • The first image has been revealed of the new Superman. I have never been a big fan of Superman but I am intrigued to see what Snyder and Nolan can come up with. Not sure what I think about the suit though.

You can get a better look at the image if you click on it in the link.

  • If they use the angle that Superman's suit is ALIEN in nature, it might be feasible.

  • Never been much of a Superman fan either. But I wonder how much slow motion they'll use since Snyder loves him some dramatic slow-mo. I wonder if they'll make him tone it down some. There will probably be some sweet CGI.
