Second only to Pulp Fiction IMO. Really a Tarantino masterpiece.

  • Movies I missed but am planning on redboxing:

    Lawless
    Total Recall
    Looper

    Any thoughts on those?

Also, I can't remember who said The Prestige may be Nolan's best work but I agree. It was simply amazing.

P.S. If you haven't seen Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, you're missing out. I thought it was going to be über-cheesy but it wasn't.

I really really enjoyed it. Easy 9 out of 10 and I'm tough on movies. Wasn't over the top like other tarantino movies. Spectacular acting

  • I was talking with a friend of mine and somehow we started talking about the movie Sin City so I get on google and typed in "Sin City 2" and what do you know, movie is in production and comes out in October of this year. Man I'm pumped up for this one. Sin City is one of my favorites so I'm definitely going to see the sequel the day it comes out.

Yeah, I'm pumped for that. Rourke is supposedly back although I'm not sure how they'll bring him back since he shot himself at the end of his story.

I watched Total Recall a few days ago and overall I thought it was worth watching. I haven't seen Looper or Lawless yet.

  • Loved Looper and Django. Can't wait for Sin City 2 (been saying that since 2005)

Also can't wait to buy Dredd next week. I finally got a 3D tv so I'm pumped to see that on 3D blu ray.

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

    Hope that is true.

Saw Zero Dark Thirty over the weekend and overall I thought it was good. Didn't like a few things about it but I thought the raid in the compound was great.

It has gotten high praise from critics, but I never hear anybody talk about it. Hell, I didn't know this movie existed till about three weeks ago. Just got around to watching it, and everything about this movie is so well done. I'm going to recommend this to everyone

Saw Looper and Lawless and enjoyed them both. I also saw Spiderman, finally, and liked it so much more than the original ones. I unfortunately watched The Watch and the new Resident Evil.....what a waste of time.

Still haven't seen Looper sadly. I don't know about Lawless. I have a deep rooted hate of any and all things Shia Lebouf.

  • I am in the middle of watching Looper finally. Great so far. The makeup they used on Lewitt makes him look like a totally different person, it's crazy.

I like the thread and it's been while. Kind of the doldrums this time of the year movie-wise, but yea...
