Is anyone else not a fan of the lighting that JJ Abrams uses? I don't really know how to explain it but he leaves to much glare in his movies.
I noticed it in Star Trek and Super 8.

I like Red Dragon a lot too, underrated vs. the other two.... the dude in Hannibal is pretty crazy too... basically makes Lecter look like the lovable guy in the movie.

Red Dragon was solid. I will never understand how Bret Ratner did a better job with that screen play than Michael Mann did.

Kalifornia is a great movie. I like the idea of two folks traveling around writing and photographing about serial killers while having one in the back seat of the car. Good stuff.
