Been listening to some Audioslave. I love Chris Cornell and honestly think that he has one of the best voices in rock.

I saw that! That was probably my favorite album from last year.

I figure that Christopher Owens wrote most of it, but not really sure.... maybe he was just wanting to go solo since he was already basically writing all the music for that group?

What album? I had Houses of the Holy on earlier.

That was really, really good. Thanks for that link and I'll definitely be checking out more of their music. Could hear many influences from classic rock in there.

Frank Ocean came out (bi or gay I guess is unclear but besides the point). His post about coming out is worth the read, a very personal narrative. Good on him

I watched a good music related documentary last night "Until the Light Takes Us".

I'm not into "black metal" but this is an entertaining watch even if you aren't into the music. It focuses on the early 90's black metal uprising in Norway that lead to a bunch of controversial events with many of the "inner circle" of groups (Darkthrone, Mayhem, Burzum, etc...).

Interesting if you are just into music docs period. Well-made. If you are into this music I imagine you have either already seen it, or you would love it.
