Music people, would you be so kind as to help me?

  • I'm looking for a certain type of music, band, whatever it may be. I love the instrumental like the two songs below. The lyrics? I could do without. In fact, I hate the lyrics from Macklemore's song. Anyone able to suggest something that mostly instrumental but similar to these? Basically anything with a saxophone is foreign to me, but I love it in the upbeat stuff like this. Just have no idea where I'd look. Any new recommendations at all -- I'll appreciate. Thanks fellas.

  • Sounds like you might like ska? If you're not at all familiar, try Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, or maybe Catch 22. Not sure if there's any bands that do mainly instrumental, but it's the best I can think of with upbeat saxophone or brass instruments.

  • Look up The Liquid Crystal Project. Its mostly jazzy instrumental beats. They use a lot of piano and brass. Not really upbeat, but good chillin music.
