I do too. A good friend of mine adopted one from a shelter and she had serious abandonment issues. He could not leave her alone in his apartment because she would bay the whole time. I did a lot of dog sitting.

My puppy, the one in the pic, is the same way.
If I leave her alone in the backyard, she pitches an absolute fit.

All my GS were like that except my first one. He was part wolf and would have attacked anyone that even thought about getting near me. I never worried about break-ins with him around.

Hell my cat follows me around like a dog, snuggles with me when I sleep, and walks around calling for me when he can't find me.
