    You young 'uns and your Dave. I remember when he was actually still good before the Crash album. Remember when he was still playing band parties at fraternity houses.

    Give me some Widespread, Government Mule, and Robert Randolph and I'm good!

    I'm good with all of those except Widespread.

    And I don't excuse Dave for that crap he called an album he just put out. Pure garbage.

    Dave was just so much better when he was younger and wasn't so easily manipulated by the industry. He's too much of a nice guy and not stubborn enough, IMO. Of course, that tends to happen with about 90% of the musicians out there as their careers go on. It's so much easier to take the check and just like athletes, sometimes they lose their edge once everything is given to them.

    John Bell from Widespread is married to a friend of mine growing up. He is one of the most generous human beings I have ever known. Love the music and more importantly, love everything those guys stand for.

    I only ever listen to Under the Table and Dreaming, and the live albums of Remember 2 Things, Recently, and of course Dave and Tim's accoustic album from Luther College.

    Sometimes I wish I could! Last time was around Father's Day. My wife sent me on a fishing trip that she set up for Father's Day last year with a friend of mine from Texas in Louisiana. She gave me a little baggy as a present on the way out.
