  • Do you have someone specific that USC loses to or just that they lose one game?

Interesting that no one goes undefeated in any of your predictions. Repeat of 2007 season?

I just find it hard to predict undefeated seasons unless there is in fact a team that is that much better than the rest of their conference.

Last year, I predicted Bama and OU to be undefeated, but knew that it could have easily been LSU instead of Bama. This year in the SEC, I think South Carolina has a real chance to take another step and knock off an LSU or even win in the SECCG. Plus, LSU has a scary stretch in the middle in which Florida could knock them off. In 2010, I didn't have any undefeated teams either and in 2009, I thought it was Bama and OU, but Bradford's injury put an end to that. One of my cousins, myslef, and his dad always predict the year out and I have the last 8 years of my predictions saved actually. Some years I am a genius, some years I am nowhere close.

Plus, a side of me wants more BCS turmoil to get to a playoff scenario more quickly. Last year with an undefeated LSU team, it gave Bama an advantage of being the only team with an undefeated team on the schedule in the computers, especially when you look at how close the game was. If Oregon would have beaten USC, it would have been very interesting to see what had happened, although their game with LSU wasn't that close.

    BetterOff

  • I think if SC gets past the UW game, they will go undefeated. That game worries me more than the Oregon game does.

Oregon would have lost to either LSU again had they met in the BCSCG. I have to say though that if ASU finishes the regular season 10-2 (8-1) this season, I'll treat you to 20 of the hottest ASU virgin women (if they exist dead) on campus. You will be the prophet of Tempe imo. lol

The rest of the order seems probable though.

That or Stanford. Both games are early enough for us not to have our act together.

I think SC will handle Stanford. We're going to see just how much they'll miss Luck, Martin, and DeCastro. Not to mention, Skov is coming off a season ending injury.

Washington is the game I actually have them losing to. I figure they get up for the big ones, and it could be a talented, but little lesser of a team that gets it done, especially on the road in what can be a tough environment for big games. Plus, it's a good chance that Washington could be coming off 2 straight losses and need to make something happen.

The offense they have coming back should be impressive. If the you WR's can step up, should be amazing actually. Talented RB's return as well.

They do need to replace a good bit on defense though, I admit. I just think a lot of Osweiler and see them as a surprise.

Bit of a stretch, I agree, but they should be able to at least win 8.

    You are right. Dang it.

I don't know why I had in my head he was coming back.

    Well that changes a lot.

Oh well. There goes my virgins.

  • USC bitch slapped virtually the same U-dub team last year. The only downside is it's a back to back conference road trip.

ASU has a new coach. It will take at least one season to change the attitude of the players completely.

The game between UW and USC will be at Century Link Field in Seattle, WA. While it is "technically" a home game for UW... it will be a neutral site game that I think the Trojans will handle fairly easily.

Keith Price will be the main weapon on offense for the Huskies, but after losing Chris Polk and gaining very little for their defense I am not sure if it will be all that close.

Their defense was abysmal last season, and they do not appear to have anything special (with experience) worth noting.

  • I think Stanford's glaring weakness in the secondary matches up very well with our vertical passing game. I also think its much easier to load the box on their power running game without luck.

BetterOff who else do you have Oregon losing to?
