Steel Magnolias, Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, and The Proposal are chick flicks, Hop is a kids movie.
And if GonigBuck watched Rambo, great. Better woman than I am. I'll watch Rambo and Predator when I find a dude who will watch Sex and the City.

My wife is awesome in so many ways... watching sports with me is not one of them, but we have a good system. Saturdays during college football season is my day. She's British so she doesn't get the college pride thing. I get to sit on the couch and watch football all day while she does whatever... most of the time out of the house.
On movies, we pretty much like all of the same stuff except of the 'boy humor' comedies. She's not a fan.
But I do the cooking because I enjoy it and I do alot of the cleaning because I can't stand a mess. She's cheaper than me so her going shopping isn't an issue. We only see movies in the 1.50 theatre. It all works out eventually.

Yea, I feel the same way about Predator, Rambo, and wrestling. I like football, golf, and horse racing and don't watch the real housewives stuff, but I'm still a girl.
I dunno about Hop, don't watch a ton of television, but it's rated PG and listed as a Family film. It doesn't look like a chick flick to me, but okay.

Hey fair enough. In my OP I stated I don't ask her to watch those movies with me. I have the courtesy of knowing that she will hate them so I would just rather watch them by myself. I'm just asking for a little reciprication of that same generosity. I've watched probably ten chick flicks this year and it's not even May yet. Hell I've watched the Notebook three fvcking times this year already.
