NBA Offseason Thread....

  • Can't find a thread for it so here one is.

I must say, Toronto antying up for Steve Nash could be very interesting. Calderon has been good for them but Nash is amazing and would give them excellent depth there. But Derozan and T.Ross gives them pretty spectacular athleticism and potential scoring off the wing. James Johnson, Kleiza and Acy at the 3. Then you've got Ed Davis and Donatas Montiejunas at PF and Andrea Bargnani at the 5.

They'd score a ton but not make it past first round.

All eyes on Brooklyn right now. It's anticipated Deron will announce he's resigning with Brooklyn late monday and then Dwight Howard to BK is likely within a few weeks. Orlando will try and act like they hold the cards at first but their leverage will wain quickly as the NBA's biggest cunt whines more and more and makes a bigger scene.

  • I wonder where Brooklyn would be if they had a half wit GM instead of the fool they have now. But still, could.....

    PG Deron Williams
    SG Marshon Brooks
    SF Gerald Wallace
    PF Brook Lopez
    C Dwight Howard

compete for the East crown? My answer is absolutely yes. Perfect front court tandem. One's a finesse guy who can really score and the other is much better and just swatting shots and gobbling boards. SG can really score. SF is a stat stuffer and defender. PG Is a true star player.

  • Why would Orlando have to trade him where he wants? They will trade him where they can get the most value and that ain't the Nets. Screw him and what he wants

Yeah, what would Brooklyn be able to return to them?

if they trade Dwight there odds are they don't keep all those guys though. Lopez and/or Brooks will be gone.

Forgot about Jonas Valanciunas... would have been a top 3 pick in this draft IMO. Big time addition.

Yeah Brooks and Lopez would have to be involved in any Howard deal I'd think.

Eh, I believe it when I see it. Really hard to put much faith into euro prospects.

  • Orlando is going to ask for Lopez and 2 first round picks I bet. I bet they end up getting Humphries, Jordan Williams, and two first round picks.

  • Houston is trying to kill Chicago with the Omar Asik deal. I'm speechless.
