NBA Summer League

  • I've been watching every game on NBAtv.. There's some really good talent this year.

    Terrance Ross, Terrance Jones, Jeremy Lamb.. Those 3 guys have looked really, really good so far.

    A guy named Mullens scored 35 last night, 7 footer who can shoot the 3 and post up.. Great potential there.

  • Byron Mullens of Charlotte. Was the #1 recruit in the country going to tOSU and then looked real average as a Fr before going pro. He's 23 now and starting to really work hard.

    Haven't caught him yet.. Hornets and the Suns play next.

    These are really some fun games to watch.. Especially with nothing else on.. So much talent and athletic ability.. Rivers is out tonight and Ant Davis is on team USA so it sucks as a Hornets fan but I'm loving watching all of the draft picks play.

    T-Robinson is playing now (game is almost over), dude looks like a man out there.

    If you have NBA-Tv I would suggest catching some games.. Lots of talent out there.

    That sucks.. Markieff Morris looks outstanding and has looked great throughout the Summer League.. He looks better than his brother, Marcus.. Can hit the 3 ball, nice mid range game and solid D. I really like his game

  • Kendall Marshal has a lot of growing up and development to do. He has not looked good at all so far today and yesterday.

    I can see why he fell so far.

    I can see why he fell so far.

    Not a good setting for him to be honest, but he has been a little disappointing. He did go 13th though which was higher than he was predicted to go on draft night.

  • Very happy that if the Rockets do decide to stand pat, the rookies are looking quite talented. D-Mo has been grabbing boards (everyone knew he could score) and Lamb has looked good out on the wing. Royce White hasn't had the production one could ask for, but hey, two out of three ain't bad.

    I'm with the thinking that he's going to do well in this league. He may not be a guy who jumps off the paper at any point, but will carve out a 10 year career.

  • I know it's early and i've been saying this a lot in this thread but Marshall will be a bust.. Not enough athletic ability and a terrible jump shot.

    I hope not because he is a good kid.

    Yeah he's going to be a really good one.. has a beautiful jump shot and nice size. One of my favorite players in the draft.

    I said from the beginning, Barnes was going to be a beast. He has soo much talent.

    I'd wait a little on judging Marshall, he is playing with a bunch of guys who aren't very good and he has never played with them before. Its tough to make plays as a pass first PG when you aren't familiar with your teammates and they aren't making plays or getting open in good spots.

    I hear you on Marshall.. I just don't think he's athletic enough and his shooting is below average. He can pass but you need more than that to succeed in the NBA.
