  • Lakers can't contain Lawson.

It's going at least 6. KG and Rondo both had to play lights out while the Sixers played like ass for the C's to pull it out.

Who cares if it goes 6. They're not winning the series and that's all that matters. That was Philly's opportunity to strike a blow to the Celtics, they failed. Boston is banged up and got beat the first three quarters, philly choked away the fourth. One quarter was all I needed to see to know Philly doesn't have what it takes to beat the Celtics.

You said "it will be quick" so I said I bet it goes at least 6. At least is key there. You may think Boston is much better than Philly, but it's not true.

A healthy Boston team is much better than Philly, however three of their guys are playing injured (PIerce, Bradley, Allen)

    That's a different story. shrug

Also, the Sixers beat the C's by 32 with a completely healthy roster in March and by 13 with everyone but Allen a few weeks later.

It's not as one-sided as some seem to think and today signified this series could be a real fight.

  • Good game going now in LA.

I really hope the refs let the players decide the game.

Denver had so many opportunities wasted there.

Doesn't look like either LA team will make the WCFs.

  • Same. Was unstoppable in college, his junior year at UNC was one of the best PG seasons I've seen in a long time.

Lakers are not a championship team and you of all people should know that. I'm just glad they made it out the first. Bynum and Gasol decided to show up and when they play well we win but that's every other game. The Heat are a championship team though and the road to the title is looking real easy. Spurs vs Heat man I would love to see that match up.

Lakers could be a championship team. I really think if Kobe took it upon himself to be a distributor as opposed to a scorer to get his teammates playing hard they would have a shot.

I also think the Heat have an easy road TO the finals, but not an easy road once they get there. OKC, and Spurs both have home floor over the Heat. Both of the potential finals matchups are great. And if Lakers get there somehow, that would be outstanding as well.

I am not ready to write off Boston yet either. They scare me, and KG is playing ridiculous right now.

I think Kobe being a distributor isn't a issue it's him trusting Bynum and Gasol to put forth consistent effort each game. Kobe loves to shoot but he loves winning more so I'm sure he wouldn't mind throwing it inside to 2 7footers if they are consistently productive.

I agree on not counting out Boston but they are facing a team that plays really hard in the 76ers. They will probably be worn out by the time they face the Heat in the conference finals. I would say you guys win in 6

I've never understood people who don't want one of the greatest scorers of all time to try and actually score the ball. It's such an easy out when the lakers lose to just call Kobe a ball hog but Pau Gasol going 1-10 in Game 6 isn't because Kobe didn't pass enough. A lot of times when Kobe puts up over 25 shots it isn't because he doesn't want to pass its because their offense is stagnant and they give it to Kobe to bail them out. Quite frankly it's the playoffs you're second and third best players shouldn't need anyone but themselves to get them to play hard in these games.

And thank you for that last little part about the C's. Everyone including us celtics fans wrote him off at some point and he's making every basketball fan in the world eat those words. However I think their bodies are starting to fail them out there and unless we make quick work out of the sixers I think it's gonna be a real struggle to score enough I beat Miami.

Lakers are 1-5 when Kobe takes 32 shots or more this year.

I want Kobe to score (I don't really I hate the Lakers but for the purpose of argument) I just want to get his teammates involved early by distributing. Once they gets theirs (Bynum, Gasol) Kobe can take as many shots as he wants. But when Bynum isn't involved he bags it.

  • KG is so ridiculous from the top of the college 3 point arc. No idea why the 6ers left him wide open every time.

Eh, I'd take KG shooting those jumpers over Rondo taking it to the tin and distributing. Stopping Rondo off the pick and roll and making their bigs shoot jumpers is the best way to win.

Ok now I see what you mean. Completely agree with that then.

Off topic, but Frank Vogel looks like a great young coach. This Indiana team always plays so hard.

I for me can't get the Lebron James hate.
He is younger than 28, and has 3 mvps. Jordan didn't win that many at the same age. And had less titles too. So you know I think this year he is taken it personal. And using all the haters talking as motivation to win a ring.
