Yes, NC State does... and that's not a bad thing. Undergrad is 23,000+ for NC State, 18,000 for UNC and 6,500 for Duke.
UNC is far more selective and has less students, therefore less alumni, therefore less potential viewers.

you're right. If you include all of the bandwagon and the so-called "Walk-Mart" fans or whatever that term is. NC State has a big following, but UNC has them beat.

ECU has over 27,000 undergrad. Largest public University in NC. Doesn't mean we have the biggest following.

From my time living down here it looks obvious that NC State has the larger following. I have had UNC fans agree with that.

Agree to disagree on this one. UNC has always been the popular school. Unless you are an alumni, or related to alumni of NC State, you're not a fan. If you're a joe blo fan who either moved to (at a young age) or have lived in NC, most pull for UNC. All the bandwagon fans who don't really care about anything but cheering for a winner cheer for UNC.
Now if you're talking about strictly the football team, you're right, but overall sports there are more UNC fans.
