    They're known for Zombie Nation, 7NA is our thing. I don't see why everyone is so confused about this.

    A new song? You realize that there hasn't been another non-pop song this catchy, mainstream, and chantable in the last 40 years of music*, right?

    It's 7NA or nothing. My fellow Michigan fans need to stop being lame, and need to embrace the 7NA. For what it's worth, it was complaints about 7NA that spawned "In the Big House". For the love of god, just accept 7NA until something better comes along.

    Every team does the 7NA chant and I'm pretty sure it started in soccer so I don't know how Michigan can "claim it" as theirs. If anything it should be throughout the whole game and not just for Michigan.

    I'm with you on all counts. Hate recruiting aside from picking out my players. But I'm going to buy it for sure.

    My favorite part is setting up the preseason: tinkering the depth charts, changing numbers, picking recruits.

    I'm guessing that 1) they don't associate that as a Michigan song and 2) they wouldn't want to pay the licensing fee to put it into the game.

    I've always considered it to be a PSU thing.

    I was gettin completely frustatred with the pass coverage,blocking, well just basically alot of thing. I went on operation sports and found some different gameplay sliders - man it made the game awesome!!! Huge difference ...

    Yeah, they can have that song. One of the most annoying chants along with that other "Ohhh oh oh" whatever techno chant that lots of teams do too. South Carolina's "Sandstorm" is awful too...

  • It may not be his demands, he just might not want his name in a video game. Another example is some bands refused to be in Guitar Hero or Rock Band and it wasn't about money.

  • Also the sliders do help some, but they don't really get rid of those troublesome bugs, especially because there is nothing for offensive and defensive line interaction.

    I would bet 99% of Michigan fans aren't claiming it as their song. The song came out around 2003 and I don't remember fans chanting along to it before 2011 at Michigan Stadium. (I'm sure it made an appearance when they started doing piped-in music around 2008, but songs played during home losses in the midst of horrible seasons aren't in the front of my memory)

    From a video game perspective, I'd prefer to leave it out because most of the sounds get annoying as hell already, hearing that chant during practically every game you play would be horrible.

    I can't really find a great video on YouTube, but I have been in a few stadiums where people stomping their feet in tune to the Thunderstruck intro was pretty impressive. It's not "chanting" as you say, but it's still a catchy, non-pop, < 40 year old song.... though maybe you consider AC/DC mainstream?

  • One flaw I notice in NCAA 12, when I play dynasty mode as Florida, I cannot recruit a true FB. I go to the FB page of available recruits when setting up my board and none have interest. I still try to recruit: offer scholly, use 60 mins, promise them the world, and still no interest. I learned to just recruit smaller blocking TEs and convert them. Anyone else have that problem?

    Yup. I noticed it depends the type of offense I run. Whenever I have none interested I hold out for a blocking TE or just a walk-on. I use a single-back set most of the time anyway.

    I have had problems recruiting FB's at any school in dynasty mode. I always run a pro style offense, but there are never any FB prospects interested in my school. I have to wait till I have more recruiting time available at the end of the season and look for 2-3 FB that are from pipeline states. Sometimes it works, but most of the time they are lower rated guys.

    The trick is to recruit a solid blocking TE and transfer his position to FB when he signs. There are always way more TE available, and the rankings transfer well.

    Sadly, it seems that any changes would be coming in next year's iteration. I am surprised that EA hasn't looked at the real data and tried to base it off of that already.

    Edit: Also has a cool picture of current recruiting. I like that when you fully scout someone you see the overall rating they will come in as.

    Stop making super LBs, crappy line play, glitch plays that occur through players, continuing the clock after I clearly went out of bounds etc. etc. etc.
