Yea, and it says $20 Million per team. What are you trying to prove again?
"SportsBusiness Daily has reported the Big 12 has verbally agreed to a new contract with ESPN and FOX for its first-tier rights for $2.6 billion over 13 years. That would bring the per-year average for the Big 12 to $200 million and the per-school, per-year average to $20 million."
Now, add FSU and Clemson and that number goes up, and the conference championship game revenue would give each school a bump as well.
Am I missing something here?

Stop being disingenuous, the ACCs TV deal is mindbogglingly terrible. That being said I still think that ACC teams will find their way into the playoff, the ACC has potential to surpass the Big12(not at the top with Texas and Oklahoma), and FSU would be better of staying at least until someone else leaves the league.

I'm just trying to understand him. He is listing payouts(Big 12 old payout before renegotiating) and I think trying to prove something even though the numbers have already been verbally agreed upon. The only reason they aren't official? You guessed it, re-alignment about to happen.

The numbers have gotten bigger for each conference for every negotiation. Right now the ACC is doing as well as the B12. The B12 is not making "a bunch more" as one has claimed. The B10, B12, ACC, P10 have all went up significantly with each new contract. Fact is RIGHT NOW, the ACC is no par with the B12. IF FSU decides to stay in the ACC they will be fine...they will still be able to get into the playoff. I think it is hilarious that I get attacked by morons on a message board for linking to the actual numbers as they are today.

Really? The ACC's new contract that extends until 2027 is slightly better than the very old Big 12, there is no parity between the conferences situations. However, no one has confirmed this new Big 12 deal and ESPN could simply be floating numbers in hopes of realignment, but if no bites and defects to the Big 12 they could offer them a lot less.

Oh so now you are back to trying to have a discussion like an adult. As for your claims, very few would claim the ACC is worse than the Big East. Conference strength and rankings goes up and down every year. A 13-0 ACC team would not be left out of a 4 team playoff unless there were several other undefeated teams from the other big 4 conferences. Once again, when was the last time 4 teams ended the season undefeated?

Did you not know that the Big 12 is negotiating with ESPN for a new Tier 1 contract RIGHT NOW? Did you not know that the ACC's contract includes Tier 3 content while the Big 12's does not? Did you know that Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma State are all making more than 7 million dollars per year on Tier 3 rights?
Nice name calling after crying about it earlier btw.

If nothing happened in conference realignment and ESPN offered a lot less, the Big 12 would take its rights to open market which would create a bidding war between every major network.
