ND path to the BCSCG

Didn't watch.. No not really, I base that off my own opinion..Not saying they won't be decent, but only 1 WR you've landed the last 2 years is one I have pegged for high ceiling..I mentioned Green, did I not? Missing on Treadwell was huge for you guys, sucks but nothing you can do about it. Next year will be huge for UM. Can they show what UM's offense is really going to look like and will it impress playmakers on the outside?

With Devin Gardner throwing the ball around I think we can. Our coaches are raving about one of the WRs we picked up in the 2012 cycle, Amara Darboh. Him and Gallon, plus Funchess who had a really nice year this year and I think our recieving corps won't be that bad. I guess we'll see.

I guess QB isn't a play maker position. Give me a break your post doesn't pass the smell test. Do you listen to these nfl teams where the WR come from. Good wide receivers are all over the place. Not just at big universities.

I'd have serious concerns about Morris living up to the hype Wolverine fans have built up for him. No question he's a charismatic kid and born leader with talent, but huge concern on accuracy and learning how to be a QB and not a thrower. I'm well aware of elite WR's coming from small schools. I don't see 1 on your roster with the possible exception of the kid out of Iowa from last years class.

Every game is different - not ND's fault the BIG gets their ass handed to them every bowl season by the SEC because of tie-in contracts.

Btw - Louisville beat Florida who beat A&M so Lousville who lost to Syracuse and UCONN, would crush A&M???

A&M beat Bama so by your logic just give Louisville the Crystal Ball if Bama wins???

You guys seem all worried trying to reassure yourselves with the countless threads but I am glad ND has Mich guy up all night.

Pittsburgh beat Notre Dame and everyone knows it.

Darboh's the kid I really liked coming out of HS. Really impressed with Funchess too, but ones unproven and don't see much on the roster or upcoming class besides those 2. Not trolling you guys, just being honest and objective here.

Well you guys lost a stud wide receiver last year to the draft & a stud wide receiver commit on NSD. Did it hurt you looking back on it now?

No because we already had other playmakers ready to step up and brought in 2 possibly 3 talented receivers to keep the train a rolling.

These people have no clue who we have on our roster. Playmakers all over with more coming in 2013.

Here's how ND's opponents did in bowl games:

    Navy (8-5) - lost to ASU (8-5) by 34
    Purdue (6-7) - lost to OkSt (8-5) by 44
    @ MSU (7-6) - defeated TCU (7-6) by 1
    UM (8-5) - lost to USCe (11-2) by 5
    Miami (7-5) - no bowl
    Stanford (12-2) - defeated Wisconsin (8-6) by 6
    BYU (8-5) - defeated SDSU (9-4) by 17
    @ OU (10-3) - lost to TAMU (11-2) by 28
Pitt (6-7) - lost to Ole Miss (7-6) by 21
    @ BC (2-10) - no bowl
Wake Forest (5-7) - no bowl
    @ USC (7-6) - lost to GT (7-7) by 14

And had OSU under tressel not been so dirty and had OSU not been as ignorant as they usually are ND would be playing OSU in the NC tomorrow and winning because no way is OSU even close to ND right now.

Shows how messed up this system is. We would have the 8th and 9th best teams playing for a NC.

The playoff will help, but that's still flawed.

So ND played 9 games against bowl teams in the regular season?

Alabama played 6 bowl teams in the regular season, and 7 when you add in Georgia from the CCG.

    These stats don't mean much.

  • Purdue, Pitt, USC, and Oklahoma have demonstrated that this Notre Dame team, much like the "Rudy" movie, is a fraud. This demonstration will reach fruition tomorrow night. Bama by 24. At least.

This whole lopsided butt whipping tomorrow should be placed on Jim tressel. It would be OSU vs ND tomorrow had they not been the dirtiest team in America. Sure the teams both aren't near the best we have, but at least it would be close.
