  • I have been trying to get through Assassin's Creed 2 lately because AC3 looked so good at E3.

    Should I play Brotherhood and Revelations also to get the main story leading up to 3 or are they more of spin offs?

    I'm just going to read spoilers up to ACIII. No way can I get through 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations before 3 hits.

    Also have Borderlands 2 which will be a midnight get for me.

    You could get through 'em. AC2 is long but Brotherhood and Revelations are not that long. Unless you go after 100% completion, which is totally worth it.

    borderlands was meh for me. Great looking game but way too open world for me.

    AC2 I am really enjoying, and its 100 times better than AC1. but year I probably wont have time for Brotherhood and Revelations..maybe one of them

    How can something be too open world? I thought you were a Skyrim player?

    It's my favorite type of game. Loot, kill, loot some more, level up, repeat.

    Plus the humor in the game (DLC mostly) is great.

    Can't wait for coop Borderlands 2.

    Skyrim is open world but still feels story driven to me. Even the quests.. same with games like Red Dead Redemption(which I need to get back to) and GTA. Borderlands I never got into the story and it just felt like a arcade free for all. Maybe it was just the setting wasnt as interesting for me.

  • I think OP really wants to play video games he is just too worried about what his co workers may think if he does. I feel sorry for him. He will never do what he wants or be who he wants to be. He is too worried about being what he thinks everyone else thinks he should be. Go play a video game OP. The truth is most of the people you are trying to impress really do not care.   • Far Cry 3 looks like it will be good if you wait for the price to drop. It doesn't look like a $60 game, IMO. I enjoyed Far Cry and Far Cry 2, but FC3 isn't pulling me in like the other 2 did for some reason.

    I heard FarCry 3 got delayed from September to December. Never a good sign
