Larry Allen and Jonathan Ogden deserve to be first ballot. Michael Strahan probably will since he is Mr. Wonderful these days (2nd year guy in my book).

First ballot guy should be the best of the best, IMO.

I would think that Chris Carter, Jerome Bettis, Charles Haley, Bill Parcels, Ed DeBartolo, Jr, and Art Modell will all get in as well.

Sapp, Brown, Reed, and Shields definitely should get in eventually.

Williams and Greene are borderline, IMO. If Williams hadn't of been stuck in Arizona forever, he would be for sure.

Edit: Seem to remember only 7 can get in each year, so maybe Haley/Strahan/Bettis is out if that's the case.

A lot of good candidates this year. I dont see how Cris Carter and Will Shields don't get in this year. Strahan will probably get in first ballot.

I would like to see Kevin Greene, he is doing a pretty good job as Packers LB coach as well

  • I thought Bettis and Carter should have been first ballot. Hopefully both make it in this year.

  • If Ogden isn't 1st ballot, the Hall becomes a sham IMO

  • I think I read something on the Sportscenter bottom line that they will accept a maximum of five players this year excluding the two senior guys that they are voting on. Did I read that correctly?

It's a joke that Cris Carter isn't in the HOF already. I think this will be his fourth ballot.

From that list all of the following deserve it:

    Ogden
    Sapp
    Strahan
    Carter
    Brown
    Reed
    Haley
    Parcells
    Modell

Agree with everything except Strahan getting in this year. Those 2 OL were the best for a decade should be shoe ins. Ogden, Allen, Bettis, Carter, and either Sapp or Brown are my picks.
