Peterson. Averaging 6.0 YPC is insane.

The actual most valuable player to his teams success is Adrian Peterson and it's not close. He literally is there sole source of offense, and they are on the verge of making the playoffs.

Manning's team made the playoffs last year.
Brady's team has had some success when he wasn't around.
Rodger's has had a down year from last year.

Those guys are all great players, and are the main reasons their teams are so great. But AD is the most valuable to his team.

That being said MVP has little to do with how valuable one is to their team, despite it's name.

I wish I could say AD but the running back position is not important in the NFL right now. Think about it, if Atlanta offered Matty Ice for AD, the Vikings would jump at the chance. The league has changed. AD is a beast but I just can't see him being the MVP of a league that his position is not as important.

I see where you are coming from, but the Vikings were awful last year when Adrian Peterson was out, but now he is back and he is the sole reason the Vikings were in playoff contention this year. The NFL is a QB driven league, but that should not take anything away from AD's accomplishments this year and what he did for the Vikings.

Ill be real mad if Peyton gets it....they lost to all the good teams they played and had the easiest schedule in the NFL

It's not like they were blown out by the good teams they faced and in those losses it was more on the defense than the offense.

Nah, he tore it in Week 16, that's what makes this year even more special IMO.

He's been the sole source of offense for the Vikings, Ponder is absolutely dreadful yet they are still a playoff team most likely.
