NFL MVP

  • Calvin only broke a record once thought unbreakable, and may get 2000 receiving yards before the seasons ends. It may go down as the greatest season a WR has ever had. But you know he won't win....

That's because his team sucks. Need to at least make the playoffs to be considered imo.

It's not like they were blown out by the good teams they faced and in those losses it was more on the defense than the offense.

His 3 straights ints vs the falcons lost them that game.

  • Adrian Peterson should win but we all know Peyton Manning will win because he's a QB.

  • Speaking of ap and peyton who should win comeback player of the year?

The one who doesn't win the MVP will get it.

Hard to say if coming back from having your spine fussed or if coming back from an ACL/MCL injury in 4 months is more impressive.

Great season but if your team can't make the playoffs you shouldn't be MVP. Which if the Vikings don't make it then Peyton for MVP and AP for comeback player.

Brady deserves it more than Manning, Manning's schedule is a joke and Brady beat him head 2 head..

    jmsmooth33

  • Idk why you guys want to give it to Manning he played it one of the worst divisions of all-time and lost to the only good teams he played Pats, Texans and Falcons..

Yeah because finishing the season winning 11 straight games is no big deal.

He started off losing 3 of his first 5 and hasn't lost since.. You blame it on competition whereas most reailze there is an adjustment period for QB & new teams.. All 3 losses were to good teams (2 of which by 6 points & on the road) but that's not exactly a bad thing.

I know that's my point 11 game winning streak against one of the worst divisions in the history of football, Brady defines greatness scored 28 points against the best defense in the NFl in a quarter and didn't have his best player gronk for the 2nd half of the year. When Tom Brady faced Peyton there was no doubt who the better QB was..

So you think he played 11 straight division opponents ?

Just bc Tom Brady plays on a better team, it doesn't make him the better QB. Brady is great.. but you're making it out like Manning is winning due to schedule. Considering he won 11+ games for like 10 straight seasons, I'd say the schedule is pretty irrelevant. (we saw just how relevant he was last year when the Colts had the worst record in the NFL w/o him.)

The teams he has played for those 11 wins are mostly gutter trash, only playoff teams are Cincy and Baltimore ( the ravens were completely decimated by injuries during this game.) I think Peyton Manning is a great Qb he's just not Tom Brady the MNF game against the Texans is the game that sealed the MVP to me. The assesement of a better team I disagree if Gronk isn't on the field, offensive weapons are about equal and defensively the broncos are much bettter.

Since you are one of the few who thinks Brady should win MVP this year ill listen to you..... loco

The Saints aren't gutter trash regardless of their record. The Bucs were playing well at the time. San Diego is always tough at home. Also both those playoff teams he beat were on the road... and Baltimore got doubled up despite McGahee being out (injury card is lame). Even if the teams they are on now are comparible, the staffs aren't. Belichick is the best there is.

Belichick is amazing but now if you compare who tom brady beat eviscerated the colts and texans, played unbelievable against the 49ers not his fault ridley fumbled the ball, and beat Peyton head to head..

So.... I checked the stats.. They played once this year with the pats winning..but Peyton was the top performing QB. shrug

The score was 31-7 in the 3rd quarter he was getting his doors blown off, of course his stats are going to be better b/c he had to throw the ball the entire 2nd half...

Doesn't matter. You said there NO doubt who was the better QB. I don't think 223 yards and 1 TD compared to 337 yards and 3 TD's makes no doubt who's better.

There was no doubt who the better Qb is and also you forgot to mention he had a rushing TD as well, they ran the ball for over 200 yards b/c Brady dissected that defense like a machine he knew exactly what they were going to do. Ok fine you are going to play a 7 man defensive front I will run the ball right down your throat, how can you say he played better when he got blown out?

  • Jj Watt has had the most dominant season for a 3-4 end. He deserves as he has had the best season of any if the candidates listed. He won't get it, but he deserves it.

If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting

Since we are debating it (& most disagree with you) I'd say there is plenty of doubt. Glad your argument is now "take what the D gives you".

There isn't any doubt who the better QB was, he embarassed Peyton on america's game of the week the score was 31-7 in the 3rd quarter. Congrats Peyton got some garbage yards and a garbage TD meant nothing, Peyton is great but he's not Tom..
