honey badger shouldnt be ranked ahead of j.banks. banks will have been a 4 year starter and will go out as the schools all time leader in ints. would have been a 1st rounder this year but came back for his senior year

Matheiu will drop after he gets exposed next year. Every coach will take the BCSNG film and target that weakness.

I see him missing Milliner, Nico and Michael Williams.

Agree. I see Nico as more of an OLB at the next level. He has crazy closing speed. Milliner will destroy the combine and M. Williams is your prototypical do it all TE.

he wasnt really that good as a corner but was good in the return game i will give him that. yeah he had several int for tds but people seem to forget about all the ints j. banks has returned for tds. he intercepted tebow twice in one game and returned both for tds. one for 101 yards and the other for like 29 yards. j.banks is a play maker and teams dont throw his way very much and he isnt even the best corner we have. thats would be darius slay

  • Ranking Montgomery and Mingo above Brandon Jenkins is just plain ignorant.

First off, Jenkins didn't have a down season last year - he was vastly improved in playing the run at the point-of-attack, and still had 8 sacks and 12 TFLs. Jenkins is bigger than both LSU ends and is lightning quick off-the-ball. If I had a dime for every time the ACC refs let OTs hold Jenkins on third and long last season, I'd be a rich man. In the League, holding still is illegal.

FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.

why are they listed as olb's when they play de

Because they all almost certainly will be 4-3 OLBs in the NFL. Too small to play conventional DE.

  • Devin Taylor will work his way onto that list.

why are they listed as olb's when they play de

Cause most think they fit best as OLB's in a 3-4

His EJ Manuel ranking was rather generous but if he has a big season he goes 1st or 2nd round for sure, we will see...

That's fairly light for a DE in the NFL. Even lighter NFL DE's like John Abraham and Dwight Freeney are in the 260's.

i know but they could easily put on that weight. they have the frame to anyway.

This is true but the question would be do they lose speed in doing so, which is so important for a DE. I don't know enough about those guys to know where they project. Auburn has a similar player in Corey Lemonier. He's a really good DE but he's really light and I think that will hurt him as far as the NFL goes. A few years ago we had a guy, Quinton Groves who was similar. He has bounced between DE and OLB and never really found a home.

    Big A

  • Knile Davis should be #2 behind Marcus Lattimore. Justin Hunter should have made that list instead of Da’Rick. Marquess Wilson should have made the WR list also. EJ’s too high. I have high expectations of Lewan this year but for right now he’s too high. Also Will Gholston IMO will be the first 4-3 DE drafted next year IMO. Am I the only one who thinks Mathieu is going to end up playing FS in the NFL?

It is for sure, all 3 are nearly the same dude

Very hard to say who is the better prospect right now

That is the standard " I only watch my guy play " and just look " at stats for the others ".... so my guy is best

Jenkins is awesome, but Montgomery is beyond sick too.... I would give the edge over Mingo to both but Mingo is capable of blowing up this year and changing minds so yeah.... you win Les

LOL sub 4.5. Marvin Bracy ran a 4.42 at the Opening last summer. Would you like to race your guy against mine?

LSU's two most famous sub 4.5s:

#2. Total LSU points scored in the 2012 MNC game.
    #1. Morris Claiborne's Wonderlic score.

The fact of the matter is that both guys are too lean to be effective at an NFL level at the point-of-attack. They both need to add at least 15 lbs in order to be elite NFL prospects at either DE or rush OLB in a 3-4.

He had one good year then for hurt. How does that make him the 2 spot?

Did you actually just compare the speed of a world class sprinter who weighs 180 tops to a 250 pound OLB ?

I fuggin hope Bracy wins that race

Remind me how many good seasons Lattimore has had? Davis will test off the charts, I could see him possibly at #2.
