NHL cancels games through end of calendar year

Seems like we are destined to not have a season. I believe Bettman has stated that if January passes without a deal the season will be scrapped because they don't want to play a compressed ~40 game season.

Bettman has cancelled more games in his career due to lockout than 9 franchises have played total games.
What an idiot that guy is. Same with Fehr those as well.

I guess my Kings will be Stanley Cup champs for two years instead of one?
How is Bettman still commish? He is making his mentor, David Stern look godly by comparison...

I would be fine with the Kings retaining the cup, but I want them to win it again, not by default since there is no season :(
I have no clue how Bettman is still commish. He certainly is competing for the title of worst commish.

Yes, but I also don't have to listen to John from Taylor call in to talk radio and say we need to get less Euro's, get bigger on the blue line, and play our backup goalie or we will never win a championship.
