    What else is there?

The atheists, whether acknowledged or not, will call Christians intolerant and the Christians will say, "God said so"

    Oh yea, Muslims, "Burn them"

  • Jesus said absolutely nothing condemning homosexuality. Guess it is another pick and choose about what to believe from the old testament to the new covenant with Jesus.

Edit: Banned sig ... change out that last pac, PM me and I'll turn it back on.

For people to read it and see what their opinion is on the matter.

The intolerance part isn't the part I care about, it's the bozo going up in front of a governmental entity and pretty much saying that we should create legislation based on this guy's belief.

And then you have these people post. SMH.

    Romans 1:27

Also homosexuality is identified as sexual immorality. Jesus warned against that more than anything else.

Can't believe Im responding. You're what's known as an uneducated unbeliever and yet you still want to discuss as if you have knowledge????

    Carry on.

So Romans is a quote from Jesus ...... carry on.
Show me a gospel verse please. They are the only ones that have quotes from Jesus ... even though it is debatable they ever met Jesus.

  • He's entitled to his opinion although once the older folk start to die off the discrimination against homosexuals will start to disappear.

  • I bet you are searching for an answer now fsufsu.
I find it funny you said this:
"You're what's known as an uneducated unbeliever and yet you still want to discuss as if you have knowledge????"

Yet, you responded to my post saying where did Jesus say this and you quoted a letter from Paul who if I am mistaken fell off a donkey and landed on his head and all of a sudden had a spiritual change.

I have read the bible twice through cover to cover and grew up Catholic but yes, I am uneducated on this matter.

I mean, if you wanna get technical Jesus did not say it. However, as a Christian one would more than likely believe in the Holy Trinity. As I am sure you are aware that is 3 parts of the same being(Confusing to others who are reading this possibly) and God thinks that homosexuality is an abomination, so in turn Jesus thinks that homosexuality is an abomination. He may not have said it, but we know his thoughts on it.

That is all I have to say on the subject.

He is an embarrassment to the University. Myself and one of the other members of my group of fans are bisexual. It wouldn't be acceptable for the hate Ron Brown spews to be directed at any other group of people. Using the name of the University of Nebraska and our proud football program to spread his hate is unacceptable. I'm more ashamed every moment he isn't fired.

Debatable? Good grief. So the pagan wants to come in and talk about a faith book with authority. The I read it twice comment draws a laugh though, well done.

The Pauline teachings are inspired by the Holy Spirit aka God aka Jesus. You don't believe that. So just drop it.

The Catholic comment drew a laugh as well. Hell current Catholics rarely have fruit that Biblically show assurance of salvation much less some dude who slaps "I grew up in the Catholic church" on the resume for his post to sound authoritative.

  • The coach is entitled to his own opinion, whether I agree or disagree with it. If he spoke out FOR homosexuality, would he also lose his job (as some ITT have stated)? No. So, as it stands now, he can't be fired for expressing his opinion against homosexuality.

Now, if he takes it to hate crime level, then he obviously will lose his job. Otherwise, he should keep it and he is free to express his personal opinion.

One of the things that gets me about left wingers or any extreme group: they admonish others for being "close-minded" when others have an opinion different than their group. Yet, they--themselves--are close minded in their own points of view.

Full disclosure: I do not care for the homosexual lifestyle, yet, Christ calls me--as a Christian--to meet people where they are and show them the love of Christ. I try not to judge such people, as I do not know their individual circumstances. It's not really up to me to judge them. For this coach, I think his actions are detering more from Christ than he is showing the love of Christ.

1 Timothy 4:12 : Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

As much as you nailed one side of the coin, arguably the side of the coin I live most of my life by. Jesus came to say what sin is and to flee it immediately. Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is here. Was his first ministerial quote.

He also commands us to preach the sobering gospel. Out of love no doubt.
