Nebraska and Florida State

  • Are the only two teams to be ranked in the top 20 on both offense and defense. Who is more impressive? Our SOS is 12 as of Nov 17th, with FSU at 110

Agreed. Obviously our schedule is nothing to be proud of because the ACC is a total joke in every sense. But I think we are deeper and more talented then Neb.

Martinez still cannot beat good teams with his arm, I think we would load the box and win this game pretty comfortably. Nebraska is a good team but I think we match up really well against you all.

Michigan and Michigan State are pretty good defenses

All this tells me is that Ohio State put 60+ up on a top 20 defense.

    Feels good man.

Oh, and Carlos Hyde just scored again.

Nebraska turned it over a lot against MSU, but made some big plays and got some... generous... treatment by the refs. I'd call it a mixed day for Nebraska's offense.

Wow dude, get over it. MSU had a few calls go their way as well. Nature of the game

You'll have to let me know what it feels like sitting at home watching all the bowls without your undefeated team in one. Oh, and kiss my ass

I'm not usually one to bitch about officiating, but the penalty on the (overturned) pick-6 reinforces my point that Martinez is not a great passer. Like I said, mixed day.

    Will do.

And you can tell me what it's like being in a bowl game your team doesn't deserve to be in.

  • FSU would kill Nebraska, IMO. Michigan and Michigan St have lost to every team worth mentioning that they have played this season.

The same could actually be said about Nebraska, unless you consider beating Michigan doing something. After seeing them in person, I do not.

Who has FSU beat that was truly good? Oh they lost to NC State. Exactly.

You mean when an MSU player blindsided a defenseless player that was not going after the play?

It was the correct call. Especially when you factory in that Adams and Bell had been going at it all day. Adams was trying to get a cheap shot in on Bell and he got caught for it. Get over it man.

How many players will Nebraska put in this years draft?

FSU has 3 likely first rounders plus 6-7 other guys that will go in later rounds.

DE Carradine (1st round draft pick)
DE Werner (1st round draft pick) (underclassmen)
CB Rhodes (1st or 2nd) (underclassmen)
DE/OLB - Brandon Jenkins (2nd -3rd) (injured all season, underclassmen)
    DT Everette Dawkins (3rd-4th)
    DT Amp McCloud (3rd-4th)
    WR Rodney Smith (4th-5th)
    QB EJ Manuel (3rd-5th)
    FB Lonnie Pryor (5th-7th)
    MLB Vince Williams (5th-7th)
    K Dustin Hopkins (5th-UFA)

We will probably have a lineman or two get selected in the late rounds with a LB in the middle to late. All our main guys are sophomores. You guys have more draft picks, but that doesn't necessarily equate to the better college team

This convo has been had before. What does players drafted have to do with who would win a football game? Pretty sure '95 Huskers proved that one.
