Because it's like college football. If your team does it, you live with it. If the other team does it, you scream foul.
It's what politics have become. Most people think it's the politician's fault, but it's really people letting it happen, cheering it on, and supporting it on both sides.
Voting Independent won't matter in this election or probably the next, but if more and more people do, eventually someone will get the message that there's a lot of disfranchised voters that don't like the direction that either party is trying to pull this country.

I'm not offended but find it funny a sitting President has stooped this low. Calling Romney a murderer, made up a war on woman when they make 15% less in his campaign than men, vote like your lady parts depend on it and on and on and on.

I’ll admit….at first I was outraged at a video comparing the choice of a girl deciding when to lose her virginity was similar to choosing to vote for Obama. I mean, are there no depths to which this guy won’t sink to be elected? But then I thought about it and when you consider we’ve all gotten humped for the last 4 years….it sort of makes sense. Despite great anticipation and romanticized thoughts of magic and hope and change and finding true love the reality is that it was all very painful and leaves you confused, hurting and not sure if it was really worth it.
