  • Good piece, Gerry. LSU's staff was really hoping to get involved with Jones late, but it appears Miss State has snagged them a really good one out of the Magnolia State.

    As bad as Miami need Pass Rushers I would love to have gotten this guy out of Miss but its so hard to pull guys out of SEC Country,mainly due to the travel for family .

  • Jones could go even higher than No. 15 and his boost gave Mississippi State the No. 17 class in the country.

    If you are Arkansas or Auburn, you have to hope your new coaches get things turned quickly. LSU isn't going anywhere. Alabama isn't going anywhere. Texas A&M is recruiting out of its mind and isn't going anywhere and the Mississippi schools are starting to keep a big hunk of talent in-state with Ole Miss in the game with several national-level recruits.

    SEC West is already brutal and unforgiving. It's about to be even moreso.

    Jones is a HELL of a player. I think hes the best player in the state, and that is saying something with Conner on the list. I think both are top 10 players in the country.
