Fair enough I shouldn't have lumped them in with surf. Never seen Georgia's beaches.

I was part of a mock mediation session with the director of Cobb County Water that reviewed the water wars between GA, FL, and AL. Also, I remember one of my high school teachers offering redrawing the state line (because it technically is drawn incorrectly) to grab some of that TN water. Regardless, Atlanta needs the water. The Atlanta skyscrapers aren't going to roll over to Birmingham overnight so AL needs to just give it up. Their nuclear reactors are fine. Also, the Apilachicola Bay saline levels were most negatively affected by Florida's own legislature...not Georgia's problem.

Either way, my lake house is on Lanier so I would like to see them stop pulling so much damn water out of there (which they are doing technically illegally).

The Islands. Sea, Tybee, St. Simmons... all have beaches. Really nice ones, with seaside Golf... live oaks, Spanish moss...

Cumberland Island is also very nice. The wild horses make it even nicer.

You have Columbia and that is it. There literally is nothing else. Hilton Head and Charleston are only busy on weekends when people from Georgia come to chill and get away from their Atlanta based jobs.

lulz at where I said they sucked. I almost went to College of Charleston. Columbia is the biggest city, and Charleston and HH are the only other good places (that are constantly filled with people from GA)
