They should investigate these schools quietly ,and punish them accordingly.The whole world doesn't have to know the school or coach made a mistake by committing a recruiting violation or so forth.That gives this sport a huge black eye.

Don't make it available to the public...easy as that.Kinda like i wont tell if you wont.

We're going on vacation and it just happened to coincide with he bowl season. And we already paid for bus tickets and they're nonrefundable so now we have to go!

Not saying they're dirty, because I don't think they are, but if they were the NCAA wouldn't hit them until some time after JoePa retired. He's the last "mythical" coach, one of the guys all the "old guys" talk about and the NCAA doesn't want that reputation ruined because it would be so bad for the sport (if JoePa cheated, then everyone must cheat). Also, it would make the NCAA look like it was picking on an old man, and nobody wants to have that reputation.

However, say like 5 years after his retirement, if PSU was dirty, I think you'd see the NCAA start to sniff around. That's enough time to pin it all on the replacement and allow PSU to say "the pressure of following Joe was just too tough to not break the rules"

I don't believe in Bowl sanctions,never have and never will,taking away a school's Bowl privilege doesn't mean some where in the future they won't recommit the same act.Plus i don't think it's fair on the kids who have worked their butts off to be in this position,who wants to compete for a national tittle,i'm saying there has to be different punishments to hand down for those specific individuals who violate NCAA regulations.
