Because it is about Courtney Upshaw, not Alabama. Did Nick Perry not have far better numbers at the NFL combine than Upshaw? I can't think of a more comparable player to Perry, but if you can be my guest.
Besides, the combine is about athleticism, and Upshaw is supposed to be a man child athletic freak.
Tell people what they want to hear, they will like you. Tell them the actual truth...they may not.

Holy crud. Perry is a freak. Upshaw is a freak. USC can reasonably claim that they have the best football program in the country, now and ever. Alabama can reasonably claim the same thing. So can we all stop sh!tting on academic institutions and 22 year old KIDS please?
By the way, If you don't recognize the name, I went by Howard Jones until very recently.

Once again, of you don't think your players are using GH or taking money from agents you're fooling yourself. Call it cheating all you want but it's a level playing field. USC didn't win because of it.
I played in the minor leagues where GH was actually tested for and was rampant, and it wasn't contact like football is. I guarantee you it is everywhere.

Perry has always seemed to be a pretty athletic kid though. The 25 pound jump in weight while not losing any athleticism is surprising but the kids a special athlete. Clay and Cush where more obvious because Cush came to USC chubby, and Clay was a skinny walk-on who has turned himself into Thor.
