    whats wrong with the alabama board for a discussion of 2 alabama coaches? wouldnt you get more input there since more people know/care about the program there? i mean it only makes sense, but i know people in the south are a little slow so its no big deal

    Bear Bryant was severely limited in his recruiting pool, so I really don't think you can compare in any way. What Bear Bryant did, make a restricted, regional program..a national powerhouse, was amazing.

    My SIL and his family...born and raised in the South, have introduced me to Southern food. Unless you think homemade or little cafe's in TN, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky..etc, are not Southern, OK.

    The Director of Finance for the company I worked for, was from the Alabama, and she would bring fried chicken, Southern style, to potlucks...none of us would think to challenge, or compete with her fried chicken.

    By the way, I don't live in Los Angeles.
