    crickets? come on man we're still loaded with talent without him. I was silent after clemson got beat 70-33 by west virginia last year. They will never win a ring at clemson, much less even get past florida state the next couple years

  • Im a USC fan that realizes Clemson will get their fair share of good players. I dont think this one is over by a long shot though. The thing that amazes me is how Dabo has all these conections to top players. Clemson had them in South Florida with Bellemy and Watkins and now the top prospect in the countries HS coach just happened to room with Dabo(and his mom?)

    Great get at a huge position of need at the second most important position ( tie LT) except QB.

    1 Clemson is hitting the ATM early this year. 2 people in Bama are very proud of their football team.. Probably to compensate for living in the worst state in the country for anything other than cousin screwing.

    Dabo played for Bama. There are a lot of connections to other coaches and former players turned coach for him just from that. He's a nice guy, people like him, etc...he's social. So over the years he's built a nice network. I like the guy, but not really sold on him as a head coach. He's probably solid enough for Clemson.

    In response to Clemson "not having talent around RN"...they've gotten several high 4 and some 5* defensive guys pretty much every year for a while now. They had a lot of them last year . . . .

  • I just checked out the Clemson website and Dabo is still the coach and they are still Clemson. No trifecta of Grayson recruits will ever fix that. Clemson offered guys that were headed to Georgia State to secure RN. Clemson will still be Clemson, with or without RN. No worries abt RN.

    Didn't realize Georgia State pulled a lot of 4 star RB's. Kamara on the other hand, could be a reach.

    What's funny is that I am not upset. In fact, one of my friends-who is a high level iptay-actually has noted as much that dabo was a temp fix and is not the long term coach.
    he, himself, notes how inept clemson has been since fsu joined the acc. Last year was the exception, not the rule for clemson. He knows that, you know that, and many people in this thread has said as much.....yet you somehow deny who you really are. Just confront the reality and move forward.

    doesn't make sense to me. When you are the ONLY good player on a defense, then offenses will find a way to neutralize you. When you have other great players around you then that frees you up to make more plays.

    Good thing he's not the only good player Clemson will be signing then, huh?

    embarrassment? oh you mean the best team in the country winning by 21 in the backyard of their opponent,
    oh you mean the team that had a margin of victory of 30 ppg in conference games?
    no faulkner, the system is being re worked to make sure teams like the one i just described play for the title....much like the kentucky wildcats in hoops, the lady tide in gymnastics, the new york giants, st louis cards, you get the point, i hope.
