    Meh. The Defensive guys from Grayson probably aren't any worse than what they are putting out there right now. He will keep them, baptize them, and turn them into champions.

    Have to keep them. Georgia is a very important state for both Clemson and USC and that would be a nightmare.

    Agreed, you have to keep them. To do otherwise would not only be tacitly admitting that the only reason you accepted them was to get Nkemdiche, but it'd be recruiting suicide with the local kids. Dabo would never pull another kid from Grayson, and he'd have much more difficulty recruiting Georgia as a whole.

    JMO, the way this kid has conducted himself during the recruiting process and the outcry by his mother, I beg to differ. This kid and that family seem to be very high maintenance. He is the type that would cause problems.

    I don't disagree. I was speaking in more of the sense of all the kids he gave scholarships to so he could secure RN's commitment. I'm not really sure how many total but it seems as though he gave out at least 4. 1 of which has been confirmed as a solid pickup. Not sure about the others.

    Gotcha. I asked because that's all I've read on te situation. Never really seen a recruiting guy comment on them.

  • Said it before: this kid's recruitment is baffling. Robert ... Fla, Ga, Bama, ND, FSU, LSU, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, USC ... hell, even soft-ass Oregon ... ALL have room for you ... and you're talking to Clempson and Ole Miss? You're the consensus #1 player in the country. Think this thing through.

    Your mom and brother aren't going to care that you didn't play with Denzel three years from now when you've bought them houses and have a ring (if you make the right call.

    And FTR, everyone accused Alabama of giving Robert Lester a scholarship to secure Julio Jones pledge( he was coming to Alabama regardless) and Lester has ended up being an All-SEC player.

    Gallman will be a stud. The CB is a head scratcher. I think taking the Miss St. QB from Grayson was also pretty questionable.

    Yea, I predicted Bob would flip a few months back.

    And the QB from Grayson is a walk on. I mean, he could earn a full scholarship eventually, or even this year, who knows.

    There are plenty of kids that are 1st rounders that didn't attend Bama, UF, Fla St. LSU, Texas, etc... If this kids is as good as most think he will be he could go to Fort Valley St. and be a 1st rounder. Im pretty sure Clemson and Ole Miss have had 1st rounders. If you are good....the NFL will find you no matter where you are. Sure, his recruitment has been strange from the get go but people need to understand you don't have to go to Alabama, LSU, UF etc... to be a 1st rounder. That's just dumb.

    It got blown out of proportion when he publicly asked for a scholly for his friend and got one.
