    Dunno, we always get to hear the 'we have higher academic and character standards at ND, that's why we suck' excuses- this is evidence that they have the same problems the rest of our colleges do, despite their high horse attitude.

    confused This is rehashed every few months; the bit about a D1 program having higher academic standards than the NCAA clearinghouse is true for 1 school and it ain't Notre Dame. Requiring 1 extra foreign language credit does not "higher standards" make. They offer the exact same guys that all the other big-name programs do.

    I couldn't give a rats backside that they seem to be having a lot of issues with players getting in trouble with alcohol lately, but the higher standards nonsense gets old when you see guys like Michael Floyd receiving zero punishment.

    I only hate 1 thing on this planet worse than ND football, the Yankees. I will argue this one to the death.
