  • Ohio State has 17 ESPN top 300 players, Michigan has 15 ESPN top 300 players and the next closest is Penn State with 3. If you can't make the natty game from here on out, you are fvcking sorry. The invitation to the game is getting handed to you on a platter. Thank god we are about to have the playoff. We would be guaranteed a Big X team every year.

    It is pathetic of the other schools (minus Michigan and OSU). Anyone who finishes below us should just give up football... they are never going to win anything significant. If you can't beat a school who has to recruit around a 15 scholarship limit and 3 more years of bowl bans, you are pathetic.

    We are a top 20 class and ranked 3rd in conference. I don't pay attention to rankings much anyway. All about needs. I was just making fun of you for taking ESPN so seriously

    Nebraska will always be behind Michigan and Ohio State in recruiting. Just look at the difference in population and high school talent.
    Nebraska has also split both games with Ohio State and Michigan since joining the B1G.

    I'll give you the success because Wisconsin never tore it up in recruiting under Bielema, but I don't ever remember the difference in talent (on all sites) being as disparaging as this.

    Compared to what I'm used to as a Bama fan? Yes your class is pathetic.

    I also feel that it is pathetic compared to OSU and Michigan. Which is why there is no reason that those two teams shouldn't be making minced meat out of the rest of what you call a football conference. I expect Urban and Hoke to do just that honestly.

    Edit: Rivals has you at 17. Still a long climb to catching Michigan and OSU. Three teams in the top 25 is a joke from the Big 10. Those two teams are going to run away with that conference.

    Not every team can get the kind of class Alabama got. It's not possible. So if Bama was a top 10 class and we got a top 5 then we could call your class pathetic? Got it

    The thing is, this is one of Nebraska's best classes, and will probably end up being Bo's best class to date. This class is a success to most Nebraska fans with two exceptions, we missed on a slot wide receiver and cornerback. Overall, Husker fans are thrilled with what we did get.

    I can see how Bama would look at us and say poor Nebraska your class is pathetic. We don't have the flashy players, or the 5* recruits. We have a bunch of guys that are going to come to practice everyday and work their asses off, they are going to do well in school and they will be good people. At Nebraska, that is considered a success.

    When we do then make all the comments you want. I'm expecting since Alabama is winning titles and the 7th best recruiting class in the SEC is also a top ten recruiting class in the country will make your point come along much later than you think.

    Scout also had us top 20. Just shows how stupid recruiting rankings are. RATT think about where the majority of the top kids are located, and look where Nebraska is located. You southerners have it so easy with having all those kids so close to home. Also, take in account the weather factor, and it's not as pathetic as you think

    To be fair though, PSU wasn't going anywhere. A kid can go there & still get a top notch education & play big time football.

  • I wasn't trying to make this thread to get on Nebraska fans. It was more over Michigan and Ohio State fans cry because they aren't invited to the game. They have no reason to bitch when they have this big of a disparity in talent to their competitors.

    Of course, but the same can be said for every team in the Big Ten. They are all top notch universities and they all play "big time football". They should all be ahead of PSU all things considered.

    Be disappointed in our class I don't give a shit. I am very happy with our class. We pushed a very good Georgia team around for 3 quarters. We aren't as far off with our players as you think. Just wait til TM is gone
